After listening to Within You Without You, I realized how beautiful Sitar music can be. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Ravi Shankar is all I know, because my friend is a big George Harrison nut.

Shankar can't be the only sitar player in the world, although he's the only player i know. i've seen other good players on tv and in videos, but don't know their names.

Shankar's the only sitar player in the world 95% of the white men have a chance of spelling his name right.

Funnily enough, Within You Without You is primarily played with violins......or whatever the Indian equivalent is....

But yeah, Shankar definately. All I've got of his is the "In New York" album, but that's rather excellent if you're interested. "Three Ragas" appears to be most highly regarded, from what I've seen, though....

He's also done crossover albums with Western Classical musicians, which I'm rather interested in getting....
