Has anyone bought a tremolo from guitarfetish before? Do the strings go out of tune a lot and were they worth the money? The ones I'm interested in are:

I'm thinking about rebuilding a squier. I know the last tremolo will fit but what about the other two? I also want to put in an EMG 60. A fat strat could take it right?

Why would you want to put an EMG in a strat?

Oh well. It's your preference. And no I've never bought a tremolo from guitarfetish before.

Sorry I couldn't help.

You'll need to change the single coils to actives also.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

Because of the tremolo, or because of the EMG? I'm putting an EMG into a strat because my friend might sell me his so it'd be easy and cheap to get. I kind of want to use a superstrat body, but then i'd have to order more parts and really shell out some cash I really haven't thought this through in terms of it being an instrument. What single coils would be good to add versatility? Should I just keep the stock ones?

Because of the EMGs...

The EMG 60 is an active humbucker. If you want it in your guitar and want everything to function correctly, you're going to need to add some active single coils.

EMG makes some.
