Didn't know where else to ask so why not the pit? I was wondering if anyone had any piano songs that they liked that they could mention to me. I only really have 2 which are To Zanarkand from Final Fantasy X and Malice Mizer's song Regret. If you have anything similar sounding to those 2 songs I would love to hear it. Any other suggestions are fine too, thanks for your help in advance (For those of you that do help).

I don't personally know those, but a lot of the slower songs by Ben Folds either solo or with Ben Folds Five, are quite beautiful.

I don't know about those two but a beautiful piano piece could be anything by beethoven or mozart or if you have a keyboard you could play toccata and fugue in dm.

Really? Bach really wasn't much of a pianist.

Claude Debussy is my favorite composer. His composition, "Clair De Lune" is one of his best-known works, along with "Rêverie", "Arabesque N° 1" and others. They have a very dreamy and mellow character to them.

Of course Beethoven, Mozart, and other composers after the baroque era wrote famous pieces. Brahms is another western giant. Frédéric Chopin is one of the most famous composers of piano music. Nearly all of his music is written for piano, which is a bit odd for a classical composer. Franz Liszt is often compared to Chopin, too.

Manuel De Falla has a very unique character to his music, which I've always appreciated. Isaac Albéniz is also another great composer of spanish piano music.

Well, the whole song is basically pianos/keyboards until the end where a guitar comes in, but:

"Space Dementia"- Muse. He DOES take some stuff from one of Rachiminoff's (sp?) pieces, but it is beautiful in it's own chaotic way.

Just to clear things up, piano wasn't invented yet when bach wrote his music, so his best stuff is for organ and clavicord(is that right?). Tho you can play them on piano they won't have the same effect. As for the main topic :

Desperado - eagles
Prelude N° 1 for clavicord - bach
tiny dancer - elton john
Shubert - ave maria
Chopin - prelude No.4 op.28
Schumann - Klein studio, op 14 of album for young

Well those are my personal favourites, tho most of the poeople here prolly thing they are for pussys
I like straberry pie

don't you?

He's like a piano shredder. He sight red entire Chopin piece in front of him (in UG, he pwned him). Chopin was pretty disappointed with his piano skills after that. (in UG, he gone emo).

But on topic:

I always like the songs people think are for "pussies". I'm kinda lukewarm to Tiny Dancer, but the rest of those are great. Here's one of my favorites, just for you, ya big pussy. While it isn't really a technically great piano tune, Bruce does a wonderful job of intertwining the piano with the vocals. And if it doesn't make you cry, you must be made of stone.

i've never heard those songs but there's a few Lynyrd Skynyrd songs with cool piano bits, especially the end of Sweet Home Alabama. November Rain by Guns n Roses has piano bits too.

What about Fur Elise? Thats probably my favorite piano song. The beginning is so beautiful.
