i was looking into strats earlier

whats the difference between em there like 100 of em

i know they probobly are for different play styles so imma just ask...whats something like what say.......david gilmour uses....which ones are good

get an standard MIA strat, or an used MIJ strat from the 80s...
maybe a deluxe strat too

one thing between mexican, japan and american is the number of controlchecks they go over with them during the process of making them. then it's about all the electronics etc

for David Gilmour sound you should by one with single coils only, alder body I think... and probably maple neck

Try to find the Vintage Special '62 MIJ Strat. Very VERY VERY close to the American Vintage '62 for just half the price.

Any Strat is good if you find a good one, I got a MIM one that beats any USA one I've played. Shop around is what I'm trying to say.

But if you've got loads to spend, look at the american vintage reissues (62 and 57 models) and Japanese Strats too.
