well today i need to know how to play something like

--------------------------------------/21--------------|-------------
-------------------------------------------------------|-------------
--------------------------------------------/18--------|-------------
-------------------------------------------------7-----|--------------
----------------------------------------------------0--|------------
-------------------------------------------------------|--------------

and when a note is like 8 then (8) what do the () mean? thanks

where theres a / then a number you slide from whereever sounds right to the number after the /

and the bracket thing is just like letting the note ring, i think anyway

(8) should mean ghost note if i'm not mistaken, you don't have yo play them

just check the tab for the legend

Yeah, (8) is that note sustained from when you played it earlier.

If there's something like that

E|----------------------|
B|----------------------|
G|-------------3-------|
D|---------5-----------|
A|---8-----------(8)---|
e|----------------------|

Then it means that you keep that F (8 fret on a string) ringing while you play other notes.
