I have one of my buddies guitars here, its a Fender Tom Delonge Strat, and theres a problem with it. First off, I plugged it in and it wouldn't play. So I took off the pickguard and two wires were disconnected, a white one coming from the input and a black one that I didnt see where it was coming from. So I reconnected them. So I put the pickguard back on, and there is this terrible buzzing noise, but its strange that when I put my finger on, or touch, the metal area around the input, the buzzing stops. What is going on here?

if u mean the wires directly connected to the input, then switch the wires. the black ground goes on the middle lug.

if u mean from the other end then it depends on which wires.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
