I want to buy a schecter c-1 fr but i have rather big hands so im looking for a guitar with a wider fretboard i was wondering if anyone knew how wide the schecters fretboard is. I want a bigger fretboard because currently i have a ****ty squier and i cant play chords correctly but i played a jackson and that was alot easier to play chords with. So yea if anyone could tell me the width of the schecter or suggest some good guitars with a wider fretboard

get a gibson les paul with a fat 50's roundback neck.

edit: or a 7-string.

godin... they have 16 inch radius's (compared to fenders 9, and gibsons 12)

and they have 25.5 inch scales... perfect for bigger hands

I'm not sure how wide the neck is on that particular model, but the Blackjack series (other than C-7) have a 1 5/8" nut, that's.. 41.275mm? Okay, wasn't expecting that. Fenders usually have a 42 or 43 mm nut, so they're actually wider.

that only means that the fretboard is flat (radius), and its long (scale).
