I was planning on taking the INF1 and INF2 stock pickups out of my ibanez and throwing in a dimarzio PAF pro in the neck and a evolution 159 in the bridge.

I recently bought a PAF pro, but im having a hard time finding a evo secondhand,
so the question is, what other pickups (doesnt have to be dimarzio) would compliment the PAF?

I play mainly powermetal/neoclassical/shred and sometimes darker stuff deathmetal etc.

The guitar is a Ibanez S470, runs through a Genz Benz El diablo 60c.

Thanks alot! and im in australia, if anyone knows where i can get a dimarzio evo 2nd hand tell me!! cheers

Another Paf Pro...maybe a D-Sonic or even a Breed, all depends on the tone you want

D sonics arent the best for standard tuning IMO, petrucci uses em, but I dont think it would sound any good with my setup.

Sounds fine in standard, it's quite "cold" sounding at times but that works well for certain styles. Tone Zone is also an option as it's pretty shreddy sounding but it can be a bit "in your face".
