I got a ibanez grg170 dx couple of months ago and i changed the strings yesterday. Before i changed the strings i could alter the pitch up and down with the whammy bar, but now i can only alter the pitch down. What can I do? (its not a floyd rose)

Open up the plastic plate thing on the back of your guitar and losen up the screws attaching the springs to your guitar until your bridge is floating again. That way you can bend up and down again.
