I recently came across some Jeff Beck and I liked what I heard. I'm trying to look more into his music and I don't know where to start. Can anyone recommend any albums/songs?
Signatures are too mainstream

Get Truth. Great album.
Mother Earth is pregnant for the third time
For y'all have knocked her up.
I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the universe
I was not offended
For I knew I had to rise above it all
Or drown in my own shit.

Start with "Truth" and some of his Yardbird stuff. If you like that move on to his instrumental stuff, but be warned that "Blow by Blow" and "Wired" may not be what you expect, more funk than blues. Also look up some videos of him on youtube, fantastic stuff.

How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.
