Hi,

I am looking at getting an Ibanez TS-808 and my questions are: Is it worth the extra money to get a Keeley Modded 808 instead of a normal 808? and is it worth the additional money to get a Keeley Modded 808 with the '82 JRC Chip and with true bypass? And what I mean by "worth the money" is that is the tone quality and range really that much better then a normal 808?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

You can get an 808 and mod it yourself to sound like the Keeley modded 808 like I did. Theres a whole 20 pages on it in the GB&C thread
