Alright, so here's the deal, I've had A Jackson Rhoads V for the past 2 1/2 years, and I definately want something new. I play mainly solo, lead type stuff, from The Mars Volta, Modest Mouse, to Jason Becker, John 5. Out of These guitars... Tell me Which you think is Best.

Do you want a double locking trem?

I'd automatically write off the Laiho signature, it only has one pickup (and a pretty crappy one at that ).

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

Yeah, I was iffy about the Alexi one, I'm not even really into children of Bodom anymore.

Anyway, to be honest I've never really used a Trem that much, I'd like one, but could do without. I've always leaned towards ESP and Schecter, I love the tone of the guitars.

Go fo the F-1 or F-3, its practically the same kind of tone as the schecters and has the perfect neck for the Jason Becker and Joh 5 stuff.
