I'm looking into a new set of pups for my RR-3. Originally I wanted something active but theres not much space in the guitars cavity, then i came across the new Dimarzio D Activators. Anyone have any experience with these? If there not so great what are some better alternatives?

dimarzio tone zone bridge and air norton neck is good for cleans and distortion

I've got almost the same setup, except with a classic air in the neck position. A quite versatile combo in my opinion, but it depends on what styles you will be playing.

what's classic air like compared?

I've never tried the norton, but the classic has a lower output (I use a Classic Air bridge in the neck position for a slightly higher output, but still). According to DiMarzio's website, the classic has less mids than the norton, and a tad more treble, and a more "vintage" sound.
