I really like the kinda tones tt lespauls have to offer, thicker and fatter.
But i dun really find the shape and fret access comfortable..
So i there another guitar that can offer lespaul-ish tones with a doublecut?

They're good, but they are alot more treble-y than LPs. They don't do lows nearly as well. But yeah, i would say a doublecut les paul.

The Double-cuts I have seen still have a similar bottom cut-out. and TS said thats not accessible for him.

And I own an SG. they are more mid-tones. Les Pauls have more treble.

And a metal pedal could easily make it more trebley.

Go for an SG son. 'tis gooooood ****.

Best alternative for a better feeling LP is the similar ESP Eclipse,
Its got good clean tone and prolly better heavy sound than a LP.
And whatever you do. Dont get the SG with single coils!

Ibanez Artist series!

+1. You get the tone, but i think the double cutaways like the original artist model reissues (AR300/305) are much more playable than LPs. They have smooth heels and have a contoured back.

DUDE ---> Go for the SG Supreme. It has 24 frets, awesome paint job options, grrreat fret access and sounds more like an LP than any other SG (it has a nice set of '57 classic PUs).

Another user I know here is getting a PRS guitar.
They should get you quite close to the Les Paul sound and the double cutaway looks like it has nice fret access.
