So, I' sure you've all been in the situation where you want more than one thing but can only get one thing...so I' not made of money so I've got ot decide what to save for...new guitar: mustang, jagmaster customized, or agile lp....or a rig upgrade...some more pedals and a bigger pedalboard.

I' kind of leaning towards the rig, because my strat is not more than 4 months old itself. I'm fully content it's just that feeling that musicians have where they jsut wnat everything.

So what do you think?

Stick with your guitar, get the rig. Some guy said like your guitar is only a small percentage of what makes up your tone. If you want to play more songs then extend the rig :P

what's your amp? EDIT: crap, it's in your sig.

what type of music do you play?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I play blues and the full spectrum of rock. Past and present, mellow to hard.

Well I need a bigger pedalboard already, and I need more pedals so I need a bigger one for that reason as well. I need 5 or 6 more pedals before I'm perfect.

The guitars are just for the matter of having more guitars. I don't need it, it's just a thing I have of getting new stuff excites me...I need at least an LP and mustang looking one each to full me out. Then I could die the next day a happy man with everything I've ever wanted.

If you want the specifics...it'd be either a Fender Mustang, Agile LP, or more likely...a Squier Jagmaster I'm going to mod and customize.

Otherwise...it's tools/materials for me to build my pedalboard, the bag to put it in, a Dyna Comp, a delay pedal, a expression pedal for my auto wah, another Big muff, and another pedal or two.

i'd possibly consider an amp with more "crunch"- use the twin for cleans and blues, and the other amp for the more rock stuff.

You don't have a semi-hollow yet? It would complete your rig very well. For me the basics to cover almost all territory are a Strat-type, SG or LP type and a good semi (I prefer 335 style.) I am currently looking for a LP style (carved-top solid body, humbuckers.)

Believe me that is one of my things to get.
I was looking at a Casino, Dot, and Hagstrom Viking. It's just not top priority. My uncle has a casino that is awesome. My aunt said she wants me to have it for christmas, but who knows.

Hmm...that thought never even crossed my mind. I really don't think that'll happen. Like I said, (did I say it?), I don't play anything heavy. The hardest I go is hard rock and my pedals give that to me. I have my dream amp and wouldn't think I need anything else.

oh ok, sure. i probably second the semi-hollow suggestion then.

Heh, as I said, I might be scoring a Casino from my aunt/uncle for christmas, so I may be set...I think I'm going to go with the rig.

i say get some stuff for the rig, you like the guitar don't change that... also try different brands of strings also..
