.. is it that you hear in a lot of metal solos that has kind of a wah effect and is great for harmonics? i know this is a vague description but the pedal is pretty standard.. i hear it all the time but can't find out what it is.. thx folks

phaser/ flanger? those are pretty common in metal... other wise its a wah and/or technique
