Found a thin line tele for 450, probly not gonna buy it but I'm just wondering if these are good guitars since its priced lower than normal tele's. Here's the link.

I like to play metal, like pantera, megadeth, testament and alice in chains, but I really like the feel of tele's so I'd liek to get one sometime.

That one won't be any cop for metal at all, being semi-hollow.

The Thinline's are amazing guitars though, I'd very happily buy it at that price.

Fenders can and should be used for metal. You'll just not get a typical sound...which should be a good thing really!

Tbf, there is no reason why a HH Fender can't be used.
