I just got a Direct Box (Apex ADP1) but I dont know what kind of cable I need to hook this sucker up to my computer with to record. I dont need a mixer do I?

Also, if possible could I get a picture of the cable ends? And please answer as if you were talking to someone who knows nothing about the subject.
Thanks

Thats like a D.I. box.

You can't plug it into a computer. You'll need to use a XLR cable to plug it into the "mic" input of your audio interface or mixer. You probably will also hafta use the "phantom power" or "+48v" with that.

here's a pic of a XLR cable... Its the cable used to connect microphones.

Yeah, you need an audio interface of some sort. A DI box just converts a HI-Z signal to a LO-Z one.
PM Me for any help you need with recording systems/tips

M-Audio JamLab is the cheapest you can go...
But you wont be able to connect your DI box to it...

so i'll say... M-Audio Fastrack Pro or Line 6 TonePort UX1
