alright folks I finally mastered this thang but only problem is my guitar strap keeps burning me right at the base of my neck. is this because I'm spinnin' this sucker wrong or because i have a ****ty (Gibson Lightning) strap? intresting side note my girlfriend thought i was cheating on her since she thought these strap burns on my neck were hickeys, funny stuff...

but please is it technique that needs more work or is it my strap?

WHAT!? queer strap with fluffy material inside!?! thats blasphemy to the guitar gods... but yeah i guess i'll try out a leather strap but i don't think it'll have the smoothness on the inside of the strap to make it spin around me without a problem.

thats the get-up i have right now... this kinda allows you to flip your guitar with ease but from my story also burn your neck.

sew some t shirt material onto the back of your strap

sounds like a good idea demonic. oh and flippin' your guitar is easy its all about the strap locks and the actual part of commiting to the flip, so full force spin so that the guitar actually goes around as oppose to this pussy goin' half way then tryin' to stop it in mid-air cause you think the strap locks will break.

because I'm set with my 10 hour practice method, now when those 10 hours are up I do everything else that involves music, like making sure the focus is on me when i play guitar. psh... noob.

Well you've got to just do it in the flow its not something you practice. Get some space and just put a bit of force into it, if it smacks you in the face or something so be it.

It could be that you're doing something that's so cliché it hurts.
