I need some suggestions on a tube amp, I play stuff like Guns n roses, Ozzy, Metallica, Hendrix, a lot of clean stuff, some Vai and Satriani and some classic rock stuff like Zeppelin, ACDC and such. That means i need a quite versatile amp. I have no problems with bying pedals after my amp purchase. I have about 700$.
My current rig:
Samick Strat
Epiphone Les Paul
Vox DA-5
Samick 80 watts amp (Doesn't sound good though)
Zoom 505
Boss DS-2

Maybe a used Peavey 5150? Peavey Triple X? Look into Vox tube amps and maybe a Orange Tiny Terror. Laney amps I have heard are exceptional.

They probably think about it just as much, they just don't admit it.

Go for a Vox Valvetronix

With his budget he can do better than that. Maybe a Peavey Classic 30 or 50?

sounds like u'd want a Marshall.

Get an Orange Tiny Terror. also an overdrive pedal might help for your shred preference.

or a laney. but i say Orange would do better for you.

Classic 50's are very nice, with a decent OD it could bring you up to Ozzy.
