I'm looking at maybe the grunge pedal to use as an emergency when I go to gigs where the provided amps are no good (rare).

I don't want to spend loads, and that pedal looks like it provides the sound I might need to play heavy rock and punk.

Do these pedals sound ok at high volume?

I hate it too.

Mine lost its grunge-ness

Ds-1 is the same price, sounds better, more reliable, and more versatile IMO

Again, has anyone gigged with it, how did it hold up cranked in a bar?

Well I recently bought a digi-tech "bad monkey" tube overdrive pedal, its ok. But to get the right distortion out of it that i want i have to crank the (volume) Level to 10 and the Gain level to 10. If i dont then theres just not enough gain.

I have the Digitech XXM Metal Master. I swear by it. That and the EH Metal Muff are all I use. Everything else is too expensive or useless. And I've heard them all.

I've used the Screamin' Blues. It's awesome.

From the sound clips, the Grunge also sounds ill.

Do you like anime/manga?
PM me about buying the graphic novels I'm trying to sell

digitech is usually pretty shoddy quality. and usually you bring your own amps to gigs. id second the ds-1 tho, it should get you a sound you need for now

thanks, I just checked out the reviews of the ds-1. both that and the digitech grunge are rated at over 9 out of 10!

hardly reliable when people are giving perfect marks for everything.
