allllll right yes another one of these threads but ill try and make it easy for you.

i have a standard MIM strat and a vox ad50vt right now.

im willing to spend around 600 dollars on this new amp.

i dont use cleans often at all really.

red hot chili peppers, foo fighters, white stripes, and various classic rock is what will be played on it.

btw i definitely want full tube, not a "hybrid" this time haha.

any suggestions are appreciated. i hardly know anything about amps

I can't imagine anything worse than shagging to Mark Knopfler.

Maybe shagging Mark Knopfler, but that's about it.

1. will you be able to turn the amp up loud?
2. do you have a decent OD?

if you answer no to 1, and yes to 2, get the blues deluxe, yes to 1 and no to 2 is fine too. but the blues deluxe is a clean machine, and has great drive aswell, but needs to be pushed a little. with a good pedal like a Fulltone OCD, or tubescreamer, you will be in heaven. much better than the HRD

ya id have to say i wont be able to turn it up past what my family could stand in my bedroom 90% of the time. and yes i would get some sort of overdrive or distortion when i get one most likely

You'll probably be the happiest used if you make sure its ok. I got a Triple Rec barely used 1/5 the original price and I'm happy with it for sure

Orange Tiny Terror, Peavey Classic 30, Peavey Delta Blues, Laney VC30. See if you can get them used to save yourself monies.
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.

Laney makes killer amps for the price.

Otherwise, you could always buy this.

You will get a lot of different tones from the B-52, but in my opinion the Laney would be a better fit for music that you play.

traynor, maybe, or peavey classic 30. i don't see why people are recommending fenders when you say you never use cleans...

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
