Whats the difference between the pro tools software that comes with this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Digidesign-Mbox-2-Mini-?sku=700498 and this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Digidesign-Pro-Tools-MPowered-7.3-DAW-Software-?sku=701055 software? Should i just stick with the software that comes with the m-box mini or splurge on the 7.3 software? I am very new to home recording and interfaces and all that stuff. Also, can i plug my keyboard directly into the m-box interface and record it like that or do i have to get a microphone and record the sound with that? Same question about my guitar, can i plug my guitar directly in?

P.S. Do you recommend that i get a different interface than the m-box 2 mini? I am mostly going to be recording by myself but i will be using an electric guitar, a bass, a keyboard, and a drum software to make my own drum beats. I will record each instrument seperately (obviously) so i don't think i need a lot of inputs.

You can do either. And if you don't want to buy software there is always a lot of free multi track recording software on the internet.
