Don't get a JB, they're overly Trebly. If you want a bridge humbucker for great distorted tones and aren't bothered about the cleans from it go for a Dimarzio Super Distortion, a nice pickup.

yes! i was thniking about the dimarzio super distortion but cannot find any on ebay, and living in australia doesnt really help.. probably stick iwth the jb, thanks a lot for your input though, it is very much appreciated

Even if you can't get the SD I'd advise you to steer clear of the JB, IMO just not as good a pickup as everybody seems to think.

And SS means no valves. Usually also means bad for guitar purposes.
