song structure is just the order of your sections.

if you write your riffs with the idea of the song in mind you should be able to then make lyrics based on the idea of the song.

Heres a tip i learnt: write your songs in a tableture editor such as guitar pro or powertab.
this will help you understand some things about writing songs too.

Greetings. Song structure is also called the form or musical form.

Basically you take the various elements of a song like the verse, chorus, bridge etc and by labeling them you can then see the form.

To keep this simple (and there are books and books written on this)
A = Verse
B = Chorus
C = Bridge

One of simplest is the A - B. Church hymns come to mind.

Another simple song structure might be
Intro
A - B
A - B
C
A - B

Take "Rockstar" by Nickelback. There they start with the chorus or B section

B (intro)
A - B
A - Extended Chorus which I will call B+
C Bridge
Then they finish the B+ again

All in a line it looks like
B A B A B+ C B+

That is the structure. You can also break down the verse and chorus in to sub structures as well.

A lot of this is can learned by listening (and not just to your favorite music) but other types as well. But if you are serious, you might want to check out at the library (or do some looking online) for a book on Musical Form. I don't remember any specific titles but they are out there.

Very basic as I said but I hope this helps

This should probably be under Musician Talk. But there really isn't a straight textbook example of how to write music. The structure as everyone has said is the sections of the song in which order. You may find it easy to just develop your base chord progression and just begin singing the lyrics and improvising/coming up with a melody. That's my advice for a starting point.
