My friend is really into death and grind metal, and is looking to replace the pickups in his guitars to better suit his needs. I suggested that he look into GFS pickups because of my good experience with them and their relatively low price. He's looked around the website and found that his is interested in the "Crunchy Rails," which are very high output rail humbuckers. Has anybody had any experience with these pickups?
Not with the crunchys, but the lower output power rails sounds great.

That does seem like a good choice for your friend. I haven't heard them or heard about them, though. The Lil Killers get great reviews on Strats, though.
All my photobucket pics are dead so no links to my guitar build threads.
