what do u guys think about the Vox Valvetronix AD50VT2-XL compared to the peavey valveking 112? which one is better for metal? which one is a better amp overall?

Peavey 5150 combo

The Peavey because it's all tube. But if you want a metal amp I suggest you go for a solid state amp.

i have the valveking head through a carvin cab.
its sick dude.
i love the sound.
very eighties sound to it,
well it goes from eighties metal to british arena rock sounds
and the clean channel is superb
which is unusual for a tube amp
i love it
ive gigged with it tons
the screws holding the wood to the electronics got loose
but i tightened em up
it is truely a great amp
and for the PRICE
its a STEAL!!!

i have the pevey valveking head.
not the 112 combo btw.
but its pretty much the same thing

on its own the vox would be better for metal. with an overdrive pedal the peavey would be far superior. but i agree with the windsor if you can sacrifice cleans (they're bearable at best)
