Intro
Sitting in a dark room,
No one even notices me.
I really don't ever care.
No, not at all.

Verse 1
One would think I'd feel lonely,
But I never do.
The only thing that keeps me alive
Is that simple thought of you.

Chorus
So I sit here,
All alone,
Waiting for you.
But you never come,
So you leave me sitting here,
All alone.

Verse 2
Now I start to feel lonely,
Even though I said I never would.
So what if I change my mind?
I never said it was impossible that I could.

Chorus
So I sit here,
All alone,
Waiting for you.
But you never come,
So you leave me sitting here,
All alone.

Wordless Bridge

Chorus
So I sit here,
All alone,
Waiting for you,
But you never come,
So I'm left sitting here,
All alone....

it's not terrible, but there's nothing new about it.
if you want to write about something that's been done to death, you need to give it something new, or it'll just resemble everything else.

Yeah, I understand where y'all are coming from.
I really don't like it, but it's my latest, so I posted it.
Plus, I'm bored, and I wanted to see if it was just myself getting to me. Iono.

Anyway, it's not like I'm going to get big on this song.
It's made for a band that I'm playing with here in Texas, just for shows.
I'll be writing more metaphorical, new-type stuff for my other band that's gonna get kick-started when I move to New Jersey.
