Well, I finally pulled the trigger. I finally bought the Gibson I've been wanting all this time.
I bought a Historic Custom Lefty 57 Black Beauty Reissue with three pickups. I got a really sweet deal on this 2000 model. It has a ding or two and a little bit of buckle rash but it is otherwise in outstanding shape. The frets look great and it sounds awesome.

Man, I've gotta work on my guitar hero face.
(The forthcoming comments will prove I'm a glutton for punishment)

$1800. The fella that sold it was trying to fund a new Les Paul righty. I simply got lucky.

BTW, it was made in 2000.

Very Nice guitar but IMO your amp should cost more than your guitar.
Emo is to music as etch-a-sketch is to art.

Music can't really be judged, since it's all on the same level. Unless it's screamo. then it sucks.

HAHA, well give me a while. I bought that VOX a couple of months ago and it serves me well for practice. When I start performing (which is my goal) I will buy something more appropriate. Right now I have to rebuild my spending money funds

If that was the case most people should have amps that are 1000-1500+. I have a Universe that costs 2 grand why should I have to have an amp that costs more then that when I have the tone I want at less then half of that price?
