I have a couple of fx pedals that I don't use, and I'm wanting to get a new wah and gate. I already know the gate I want, ISP and I want a McCoy Wah, just not sure which one. I've got a few questions:

I play mostly metal and blues based stuff and my rig is in my sig:

1. Which McCoy wah would be best suited for this style? I have no previous experience with them, I just know they get rave reviews, especially when compared to Dunlops, and people here seem to swear by them.

2. If I sell the following: MXR Super Comp, MXR Smart Gate, Dunlop Crybaby from Hell and the VS Jeckyll and Hyde OD, all in excellent condition, should I expect to get enough to buy a high end McCoy and ISP Decimator?

Thanks
My current rig:
Schecter C-1 Elite EMG 81/85

Ovation CC48

Peavey 6505 Plus half stack

MXR KFK 10 band EQ
MXR Super Comp
MXR Smart Gate
Dunlop Crybaby from Hell
VS Jeckyll and Hyde OD
EHx Holy Grail
EHx Stereo Memory Man

What is it you don't like about your Dime Wah? I've tried my friend's McCoy in my 5150 before and I honestly liked the sound the Dime gave me better on hi-gain stuff.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

It's not a bad wah, but the more experienced I get with using the wah, it seems kind of.....lacking.
