Crossroads.
Dear God, do you actually answer prayers?

Yes, but only in a way indistinguishable from random luck or the result of your own efforts.
#5
Spinal Tap?
Another movie that doesn't really have a plot about music but is kind of music-ish is The Crow. Cool soundtrack with The Cure, STP, RATM and Pantera I think for example.

The Wall.

I've never seen it but heard it's good.

Yep, what better than one of the greatest albums of all time as a sountrack.

Also, the movie is freaky shit.

My favourite music themed film is The Blues Brothers though.

Any of Dylan's (Renaldo & Clara I've never seen but desperately want to). Spinal Tap of course! All the Beatles films except Magical Mystery Tour.

Why are you answering with a questain mark?

Dude, Crossroads had Karate Kid. Steve Vai's an awesome guitarist, but c'mon... Wax on, wax off? I really doubt that was in Satch's lesson plan.

Almost Famous is one of my favorites.

I'd like to add
The Decline of Western Civilization: The Metal Years
Another State of Mind - awesome documentary featuring Social Distortion when they first started (Mike Ness was like 17 in it).
Guitars:
Schecter C-1 Hellraiser FR

There was a very very strange movie, it was as if you were on LSD when you watched it. I don't remeber the name, but this guy walked around a desert with a guitar on his back, with a suit on and the enemeys he ran into at a bar were all in black that played metal, and he played blues and old rock. It was pretty cool, but i forgot the name.
#32
Oh, Yellow Submarine by the Beatles, too.

Not a big Beatles fan, but that movie was pretty cool.

Almost Famous, my favourite movie ever (get 'Untitled,' the extended director's cut, it's better.)

Backbeat -- about The Beatles in Hamburg in 1960, when Stu Sutcliffe played bass.

High Fidelity

The Blues Brothers

I'm looking forward to the Beatles movie coming out this month, Across the Universe I think it's called. It looks a lot like Hair, which is the only musical I've ever liked.
