On an already made guitar pro track, is there any way that i can make it display the names of the chords above the music without having to figure them out myself?

You can only have chords displayed on the sheet if they were added to the score as such. What you do is go to "Track -> Properties" and check "Diagrams list on top of the score" to get the diagrams showed at the very top, next to where the tuning is. Check "Diagrams/chords below the standard notation" to have the chord names show up under the bars (under the standard notation, above the tab).

But still- this is ONLY if the file was made using Guitar Pro's chord library. It won't work if someone's punched in the fret numbers themselves.
