Dumbass question of the year goes too..... me? Ye but i was watching a video on youtube and the dude was just playing the head into his tiny Peavey amp. And it didnt blow up ;]. So would it do serious damage if the head is played quietly?? I ask this cuz i just wanna try to see if the amp is in proper working order...

you need to disconnect the speaker(s) from the amp then run the head through the speaker(s)- you just need to make sure that the speaker(s) can take the amp's wattage load

Exactly what he said.

Music can't really be judged, since it's all on the same level. Unless it's screamo. then it sucks.

what he means is he has an input marked 'power amp in'. its the return of his effects loop.

and no. do NOT plug your head into that. please.

Yeah, that's it. That makes more sense. Defintely not... "Plug your power amp in here."

Put then there's not a send loop.
It says Preamp out above the input and Pwr Amp in below it.
It's a kinda old Minx 110

No, it's more of "This is the input of the poweramp."

It says Preamp out above the input

The "Preamp Out" is the effects send, the "Power Amp In" is the effects return. These are just more literal ways of labeling an effects loop send and return.

But there's not two inputs for both. There's three inputs in all, the general one, the power amp in, and the headphone.

The power amp in says both Pwr amp in and Pre amp out on the exact same plug

You use a stereo cable for that. One channel on the stereo splitter is the send, and one is the return. it'll say which one, ring or sleeve is pre and pwr.

Oh I see. I never really use it anymore though. I occasionally use it to run vocals through, but not really often.
