I hold the original 10, then do i pick the 10 again just as i'm about to slide to 14?

pick the first note once then slide to the next

play the first 3 notes as normal, the next note - pick the 10 and slide to 14. Play the next note normal then pick the 17 fret and slide to 14. Play the next 14 and 15 notes normal then on the next note slide up to the 10 fret from maybe the 7th or 8th fret and finally pick the last note.

so that 15--/-10 means slide from a lower note to the 10?

or can i just slide from the 15 to the 10?
