im tired of my distortion because wheni turn it up so it sound the way i want it to it gets a unpleasent background noise
so here is the options ive come to so far
1. get a new pedal (any suggestions is appreciated)
2.modify the pedal probely with keeley
3.get a noise reducer like ISP decimator
Guitars:
Gibson Les Paul Studio
Parker Nitefly with SD Hotrails and JB Two Tone

Amp
Marshall dsl 401

Effect:
Boss DD-6
EHX Big Muff

mod it + the ISP. it should solve it.


EDIT: i just saw that your using it with a DSL. why dont you just use the amps distortion? from what i hear its pretty br00tal! or sell it and ad a lil money and get a bad monkey OD or a clean boost to push your tubes harder (thus more distortion)

If u sold the DS-1, i think with a little extra, you could get a TS808 or a TS9, which would definately do a lot of good on your JCM.

well EC said that an OD through his DSL sounded muddy and suggested a clean boost. so check out the BBE one
