i just bought some fingerpicks... i've never used them before, was just wondering the right way to use them... any suggestions?
Anyone who thinks that music these days is dead doesn't listen to enough music.

I've only ever used a thumbpick, but I'm pretty sure you just play normal finger style, except the picks make it louder.

You wear them so that the pick effectively gives you a plastic fingertip, not so that you have a curved over fingernail - that way will catch on the strings way too much and mean that strings will break very easily.

I have some fingerpicks, but I always use a thumbpick and my fingers.

Always wear a fingerpick with the long pick side UNDER your finger. It's that simple. Otherwise, you'll break strings.
