intro riff is very cool sounding i like the tamborine. the timing is way way off though. work on that. drums were really good. i thought your distorted tone could use more hights.

thanks for the crit.
Too cool for a signature.

Yeah I quite liked it, thought the solo was rather good and fit the song perfectly...I don't know why but I always expected some vocals to enter during the distorted sections...but overall yes very good it was also very well mixed well done

Thanks for the crit on my song as well

Didnt like the ontro riif but loved when it kicked in with the distortion, but thought it could use a bit more of an edge. Like every1 else has said would saound god with vocals and mey even change my opinion of the little riif you use when not playing distorted just dont think it sounds right by itseld. Liked the solo very nice different from the 9999999nps solos you get these days. Thats it really not bad not bad

Thanks For The Crit

It's very well written and recorded but not really my kind of thing. It's just to 'classicy' for me. Nice riffs though.

gotta love the tambourine, and the switching from acoustic to electric is really nice, with female vocals it would be excellent, thanks for the crits in my song

this is really neat. i love the transition. the drums sound great. very good quality. what do you record with?
i can totally imagine the kind of male vocals that would make this song awesome. I'm really liking the tambourine also. pretty cool stuff. thanks for the crit.

I liked it...Flowed very well. Drums seemed a bit too powerful to me though...Other than that, great work.

pretty smooth intro, i dig. the transition was good. need a little editing/quality improvements. the drums are kinda snazzy. getting a little repetitive. still a nice track, could use some changes, vocals, leadwork, whatev. excellent start, could be so much more.

the effect on the solo was pretty cool, but nothing attention-grabbing. could be alot more with some vocals
#14
I like the intro. the tamborine is cool. The acoustic riffs are really good, but the distorted riffs sound kind of wierd to me. Do you plan on having vocals? Because it's pretty repetitive. The tone on the solo is a little too bassy.

Good job.

i liked it. i think it would sound good acoustic as well. i think you should change the outro- the drums should fade out with the guitar. but still better than anything i could do!

please crit mine here

Real nice. Real nice. If i were you i would give the singing a go, im fairly awful at singing but even so i feel it still enhances my songs but back to the song, i felt that i really liked the way you combined the distorted sections with the clean, and the solo was brilliant. My one criticism would be try and make the clean sections a bit louder, and make the tone for them warmer? Keep it up anyway

Very nice song.
Nice sound, love the distorted guitar. (I guess you used a chorus?)
The solo was cool too.
If you add some vocals to this song, it will be perfect!

listening now...cool folky type vibe with intro, I love how it went into the distorted riff. The presence of the tambourine is awesome This would be awesome with some vocals man, you can see that its really set up to have vocals. The solo was good, too much effects i feel on the it though, like a plain distorted lead sound would have done the job i think. Good stuff man. A nice rockin song
#28
Really cool man all I think it needs is some vocals. Its a very catchy song the solo was good it fit really well and good recording quailty aswell.

I liked this a lot, it has a good vibe to it, i actually preferred the little acoustic riff to the distorted parts but it flows well into each other. nice work

sounds good, you have a really nice melody, i think it sounds best with the clean.
Regarding the distorted guitar i would personally prefer to hear it without the effect (chours, phaser, flanger??) the solo seemd to fit in quite well.
I guess this is not a finished song, but when you make it done, i think you should add a 2nd melody to alter with, maybe as a bridge.
otherwise good job!

Crit back?

Pretty cool. I like the tone of the electric guitar - very spacey. Overall interesting song, and it retains a "classic" feel without sounding too derivative or generic.
#34
Good song. I really liked the mix with acoustic and electric, as well as th solo which I thought fit the song perfectly. Like other people have said, I was just waiting for the vocals to kick in. Good work!
#35
I love that intro riff. The song is good, add in the vocal parts and you should have yourself a very awesome song.
