Another Build THread!!!

EDIT 9/7/07: the tone from the Rat i made isn't what i was expecting. i was expecting cleaner, low gain sound... so if anybody got offer, i'll start at $100+shipping. If you specify, I will paint the enclosure to your specification. look at the order procedure on the first post. so post your offers now

the sound clip for the Rat is on my Profile page.
Now, if you want the enclosure to be painted, it will be $5.00, and you have to pay the $5 for me to paint it. Painting will take 5-7 days to be finished. I'll take paypal, or US Postal Money order, but MO would take good 5 days to get to me too. So to post offers, starting from $100+shipping (+$5 if u want painted enclosure) either PM me, or post in this thread.

Thanks!

Today, i got 4 pedal kits from BYOC.com.

they are:
Mighty Mouse - Vintage ProCo Rat Clone
Digital Delay - Boss delay clone i guess?
Phaser - Vintage Script Phase 90 clone
Tremolo - iono. its just free tremolo.

I'll start with the Phaser first.

Here we go!

awesome. i should try this. How much are they? If youve done this before, how difficult is it??
#3
pretty easy. it just takes a long time. I like it though. like $60~80 for most pedals. wah is $130. around there.

Primer coat is on the enclosure. The enclosure will be painted neon orange.

lookin good EC. how do you paint your enclosures? do you bake them?
#15
^putting out in the sun in 100degree weather works.

i put primer, few coats, then 5~6 coats of paint, bake in the sun, then 2~3 coats of clear coat.
done in bout a week. no decals that is.

O.o expensive, i don't really understand how it can be too expensive, but i also don't understand why you need a kit. wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the parts seperate? and make a case?

#32
^for that, i'd buy a used crybaby and modify from that. it's better IMO. i have one. $130 for the BYOC wah is a bit too much.

do they come fully ready to paint? just primer then paint?? well all you have left is wiring it up right? that shouldnt take long...should it??? i figured the actual board was the hardest.
