N00b Alert!!

How do i tune to drop D on my bass??
seriously, I do have a Korg tuner but dont know how to go to drop D,
Help??

press the flat button twice and then tune your low e string to that.

Play the 12th fret harmonic, and match that to the first string.

EDIT: When I typed first string, I meant second string. I was being lazy that night.

For a reference, play the 13th fret harmonic on D string. Tune the E down to match that. Check it with 7th on E (now tuned down) and open A

Give that E string a couple twists down until it matches your second string.

My preferred way of tuning to drop D, is the matching the 12th fret harmonic on A to the 7th fret harmonic on the E string.

ummmmm try playing the 7TH fret harmonic on teh e string and matching it to the 7th fret harmonic on the a string or use ur tuner either ways good

That wouldn't work, 7th fret harmonic on A string = E, 7th fret harmonic on E down tuned to D = A
