Marshall, Fender, Vox. Yes. i dig vintage voiced amps. They kick High Gain stacks' ass.

or, go with the real authentic stack. (Marshall was first!!!)

Well you guessed it...

Orange!

Though I like old Marshalls I didn't vote for them because of the MGs, AVTs and the fact that most of their amps today are overpriced.

+1 to that.

I voted Mesa, just cause I love them, and Peavey...cause I own one

My ideal amp is probably gonna end up being a Vox AC30. As much as I try to get away from it I can't seem to convince myself they aren't for me. I can just imagine myself using one onstage...
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.

I would like to make one with ENGL instead of Johnson....

I love Peaveys, I can step away from their lead channels. Whenever I go to guitar center I have to play a 5150 or JSX. But I own a vox, which is a clean beast, as well as my guitar teacher 59 fender bassman, which is a god.

+1. But Peavey is good too.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

Wtf is Johnson?

Fender, or any company which makes a good clone (Victoria, Gomez, etc).
#24
Marshall, because I've always loved the Marshall sound (obviously not the MGs and AVTs and stuff). Even though it's not the sound I want, I still love it, and though they aren't the best amps in the world, they're still my favourites.

If I was to choose based on what I want from an amp, then I'd likely vote for Cornford, because they make lovely amps.

Yes, I know this may seem a weird way of going about things, but I'm odd so live with it

VOX, Hiwatt, Matamp (although I haven't played a Matamp, I'm strangely attracted to them)

Seriously, what is Johnson? I've never heard of it.

I was curious about this too. A quick google search revealed that they are some kind of digital modelling-tube hybrids. Something like the new spider.

Johnsons are low level intro guitar type stuff. At least, I don't think they make any high end stuff. Local guitar shop by me used to sell them for the starting out guitarists.

They've actually been around a while. I think Adrian Belew uses/used them.

^ I play with mine often, but I draw the line at anyone else's!

edit: actually, I looked 'em up a while back because there was a Johnson halfstack in a pawnshop I frequent for quite a while, and I just wanted to see what they were about. Not for me.
