So I have a guitar with a Gold Bigsby and I am usally careful to wipe it down after playing it to prevent severe tarnishing but lately I am noticing what appears to be "Freckles" on the bigsby arm.

Is there anyway to remove these imperfections without damaging the gold plating?
use one of those cloths made for cleaning glasses..they make stuff for it but be careful not to use harmfull chemicals. its never i could idea to brandish a bottle of anything around your guitar. lol
Is there any sort of chemical that is safe to remove tarnish on Gold PLating. I don't want to strip it down to the bare metal.
umm.. its hard to tell with gold platting. im not really sure. maybe you could ask someone at the local guitar shop. they usualy sell chemicals that are made specifically for this.
