Yeah at the local pawn they had an RGX from the 80s by yamaha. i saw the price tag was 150 bucks. it was pretty scratched and scuffed but still had that shiny pearl white to it. the guitar was neckthrough, i could tell because someone had literally taken sandpaper to the joint, as if to see if it were really neck-through. haha. it was an RGX and some numbers, but ive played two of these now, and god damn i have NOT been dissappointed. its cool to see yamaha had some good stuff going on back then. it had a LFR that seemed pretty stable, i might pick it up if i can sell a few guitars here soon. i got 3 that need to go ebaying.
Yamahas ain't bad, i've got a RGX 520 DZ and i absolutely love it
