Hey guys,
A friend of mine has a ZW45 Zakk Wylde wah pedal and he's had it for a couple of months now. But now when he engages the wah it kills all sound coming from the amp like it's not a wah, just an expensive killswitch!
He's looked inside it and there are no issues with the soldering or anything.
Is this common? Does anyone know why or know anyone who has had a similar problem?

Thanks!

^that's a wierd problem. there should have been quite a few problems like htat, but not common. Post pics of the board. front and back. then i'll be able to help you.

It's still under warranty, yes.
There should be no need for pictures really. I have the same wah and we compared them and they're exactly the same. So something really weird is up.
The only thing with his is the jack is a bit loose and he was missing a foot for it. but i think thats fixed now, and still we have a big issue!

It sounds like potentially the battery has gone. I know it's painstakingly obvious but... has that actually been tried?
Thanks for reading

what were you expecting? Even Zakk Wylde himself doesn't use it, so it must be ****

wth? Yes he does!

I would also agree it sounds like a switch issue.

Zakk Wylde uses all of his signature gear, as far as I know (yes, including the slamming MG as a practice amp).

its just a crybaby with film caps instead of the cheap ones in normal crybabys. $1 more parts at the most, plus a stupid paint job and you get charged a ****load for it. then it breaks. lesson: dont buy signature gear, go to the wah moddding thread!
