I think we need an official thread type thing for one of the most underrated bands of all time. This band has some of the best guitar work and lyrics.

Is anyone else as completely obsessed with this band as I am?

Let keep the cowbell spam to a minimum please.

I was obsessed with them for a long time. I just started listening to other stuff...

Now that this thread has been created I shall return to become the obsessed BoC slave I once was.

Then Came the Last Days of May, Harvest Moon, and I love The Night have to be my all time favorite songs.

Magna of Illusion, Flaming Telepaths, Before the Kiss, a Redcap, and Workshop of the Telescopes are some of my favorites.

I saw them live in St. Louis in I think 1976 (?) opening for Uriah Heep. For their encore they had 5 guitars and the bass player playing all at once (even the drummer jumped down and grabbed a guitar.) First time I'd ever heard of such a thing. Amazing.

No. The only thing(s) you said that were correct were the last 2 parts.

BOC is my second favourite band of all time.

Eric Bloom has one of the most epic voices in rock history. I was listening to Astronomy the other day, and I thought "Dayuumm this is the most epic song ever!". Doesn't it just have an epic feel to it? (in the true meaning of the word).

Rapid repeating followed.

Buck Dharma is THE man. On par with Page and various others.

Nice! Burnin' For You is my favorite.
Where's that confounded bridge?

Try to realize it's all within yourself
no one else can make you change
And to see you're really only very small
and life flows on within you and without you.

Easily, the best band of all time

I can't understand why they are so underrated, Dharma's riffs were by far some of the best in all of music from my understanding.

Don't Fear the Reaper, is what i think, the best song of all time, and that song, Donald Roesor, and all of BOC have never got the recognition they deserve and i cant understand why.

They were easily one of the best lyrical bands, which only shows how damn good they are,

Ive been tryin to find them tourin anywhere, but i dont know anywhere near

Has any one seen them in concert are they good?

Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll, anyone?
Mother Earth is pregnant for the third time
For y'all have knocked her up.
I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the universe
I was not offended
For I knew I had to rise above it all
Or drown in my own shit.

Not only Cities on flame with rock and roll, but the entire agents of fortune album,

They are all great BOC songs, Cities on flame, dont fear the reaper, revenge of ver gemeni, E.T.I, you name it, they are all masterpieces.

You know I can't figure it out, i know BOC sampled Harvest Moon from the animals and we gotta get out of this place,

but can anyone out there tell me if they actually DID sample Ballroom blitz from Sweet or what? Cause i know that song has been sampled many times, but i just can't see the BOC sampling that song, or ever hearing it either.
#32
the members of BOC are some of the most talented musicians i mean they all play guitar awesomely along with the instrument they already play and everyone sang lead vocals on at least one song everything they made was just musical genius
