i was arguing with a friend about hip hop and he said that it is a waste of time, that the instruments are bad and the lyrics are bad...i only have political hip hop on my computer so...can anyone tell me some good hip hop songs with deep lyrics or poetic lyrics?

Tupac was also a poet, if you google "tupac" and click on one of the top sites you should find links to his poetry, and some of it is really deep.

Then dont listen to him

He's a genius

When I first met him thought he was cool,
Had a few things in common, like supporting Arsenal

Nah, I don't support Arsenal, it's one of his lyrics that always makes me laugh.

I support Cambridge, why did you think I supported Reading?

He is very angry, but he is poetic, so it's all good.
