If you watch this video demo of the Boss BR-600 and click 5. Multi-track Recording you can can see how he easily makes a song by recording each part of the song one at a time and putting them together.

Does the Zoom MRS-8 have this feature? When you make a drum beat and record over it, can you hear the drum beat as you are recording? Or say if you record a simple chord progression, when record a solo over the chords can you hear the chords as you play?

Also, what are the differences between the Zoom MRS-8 and the Boss BR-600, is there anything the Boss can do but the Zoom can't?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Oh yeah, would it be possible to record my band with the Zoom MRS-8? There are 2 guitarists, a bassist, a singer and a drummer?
