I have a question regarding moving fingers from one string to another like here

e
B
G
D
A --------1
E ------1

can anyone give me some good excercises to practice that? whenever i do that it sounds kind of rough.
A recent study shows that 92% of all teenagers have moved on to rap music. Put this in your profile if you are one of the 8% who stayed with the real music

yup..kinda like a barre chord. also you could just use your first finger on F ( E string 1st fret) and your second finger on A# ( A string 1st fret). but i think just using one finger would be easier.
