Does anyone have any advice, or suggestions??? is it difficult, or easy? im pretty good at languages, and learning chinese is something that i really want to do, so i have the motivation for it.

Any advice is welcome

I'm taking Chinese, I haven't learned a ton yet, but it's a really fun language.

You'll be scratching your head a lot in the first few days, but you'll get it eventually.

I highly suggest it, and speaking of which..

I bet it was to understand his anime porn without having to wait for the dubbed versions.

And if you take it, TS, take Mandarin Chinese. If you know English and Mandarin, you can accomplish anything in the business world.

I'm taking it and it's pretty easy, you just need to put more time in so you can read and write the characters

yeah, i figured that it would be really important, seen as china will soon be the world's biggest economy. ill be learning mandarin, not cantonese by the way.

Aren't there like 15000 characters you'll have to learn instead of alphabets?
Tickle me.

Go for it. I've been considering having a go at a new language for a while now, but I'm just too lazy to start. Or even pick one.

cheers for the advice!

Don't they say it's one of the easiest languages to learn to speak, but one of the hardest to learn to write?
