Are there any web sites that can help you with the scales/patterns/techniques needed to play the kind of improv for songs such as "little wing", "red house", "texas flood", etc? I want to learn this style but don't know where to start. Thanks for any help!

There are some web sites. One good way is to download the songs onto your computer and slow them down with Windows Media Player. It retains the pitch and tuning.
