Are there any web sites that can help you with the scales/patterns/techniques needed to play the kind of improv for songs such as "little wing", "red house", "texas flood", etc? I want to learn this style but don't know where to start. Thanks for any help!

I put my tobacco under my upper lip, just like anyone would do.

Pentatonic and blues scale is what u want. These songs tend to have signature licks that are played hroughout. SRV uses a lot of signature licks and he has his double stop slides and mean vibrato etc. You just gotta learn blues techniques such as nice wide vibratos, trills, double stops etc. I dont really know how to explain it, you just gotta play from the heart and play what u feel........usually it sounds good.

Stevie relies heavy on pentatonic scales while Hendrix is a mixture of blues pentatonics and funk.
